I think I started this Noro Striped Scarf in 2010. It was lounging in my UFO drawers with about 1/4 left to knit. I just get bored with scarves.
I wish I had been better about Raveling all of my projects at the time, or at least keeping track of the ball bands. I have no idea what two colors of Noro Silk Garden I put together back then, but I think it’s pretty safe to say you can use almost any two colors of Noro Silk Garden together and your scarf will look pretty amazing.
It feels like a long time since I posted! I have a Christmas knitted gift to Matt to post about soon. It was secret, but I gave it to him early because I’m really really bad about waiting for the actual birthday or holiday to give presents. Z is getting over a cold and I’m knitting my fingers to the bone every chance I get. I hope everyone finds some relaxation time in the holiday bustle.
Gorgeous! I’ve got to get me some Noro. Hope you get a chance to relax too!
Great scarf. It’s always nice to find one of those projects who are almost done that got put down for what ever reason. In terms of presents I am the same way! Happy Holidays.
That’s a pretty scarf. I want to try some Noro yarn soon.
BUT IT”S SO GOOD!!! the results outweigh the perpetual boredom, right?
Great scarf. Enjoy your first Christmas with Z.
It looks great!
This scarf is so cool! I love it! It makes me want to do some serious knitting. I’m cheating this year and only knitting gifts with Cascade Magnum– that’s barely knitting!
That scarf is gorgeous! I’ve never knit with Noro, but this makes me want to!
Wow, that looks awesome! I have some odds and ends of Noro leftovers; I might have to try something like that.
I love Noro silk garden! I made a scarf out of it too. I have the same problem about keeping track of my stash and remembering where I left off on a pattern! Good job finishing!
Love this pattern too! Your scarf is fabulous!
I applaud your scraf, beautiful. I can’t focus on them myself, all of my scarves are good for dolls.
Good for you! Scarves are the one project I always mess up.
absolutely beautiful! I have always wanted to make a scarf exactly like this but I always get lazy lol. I love Noro yarns, they are so gorgeous!
