This post has me beyond excited. Firstly, I’ve written on this blog long enough to have 600 posts now! Holy cats. I can’t quite believe it. Secondly, I have a new sock pattern to release called Chevrolicious. Thirdly, there is a giveaway.Β The lovely folks at Sweet Georgia Yarns are going to give a skein of Bulletproof Sock (color of your choice) and I’m going to give away a pattern to go with it. Β Hell yes.

chevrolicious-9Β I fell in love with this Bulletproof Sock as soon as I cast on toes for these socks. It feels incredibly silky and smooth. I can’t wait to wear them when the weather gets cooler. chevrolicious-8

Chevrolicious is a unisex sock pattern written in three sizes. The smallest size can accommodate women’s feet in a narrow width. The medium size is appropriate for women’s medium width sizes, and the large will work for most men’s medium width sizes. The chevron pattern is pretty easy to memorize, but just in case I’ve provided a chart and written pattern for each size. While the width is set by the pattern, you can make the length completely customized to the wearer’s foot. Helpful measurements include knowing the length from the toe to front of ankle and from the toe to heel. I have sneakily made socks for friends by looking at handy charts like this that at least give total foot length. chevrolicious-2My town has really cool storm drains to remind people that what goes down them ends up in the streams. I knew I had to take some sock photos on this one and I think I probably got some odd looks as I was outside taking pictures of my feet from all angles! chevrolicious-5This sock is written from the toe up. You can do them two at a time if you like, but this time I wrote the instructions in a way that they can easily be done one at a time as well. chevrolicious-10I’m making all of my patterns 25% off for a limited time to celebrate my 600th post, so use HAPPY600 at checkout to apply the discount!

Comment below and name your favorite Bulletproof Sock color and what you would knit with it (doesn’t have to be this pattern). If you use Ravelry, please put your Ravelry ID in the comment. I will pick a winner by Friday at 8pm Central time!
