I really really really want to start NaKniSweMo, but alas, the gorgeous shade of Socks that Rock yarn has not arrived on my doorstep. I ordered it on the 23rd of October, thinking there would be plenty of time, but I was wrong. They do say on their site that orders may take up to 10 business days to ship, but I was optimistic anyway. I’ll just start winding and casting on the minute it arrives.
Instead, I am quelling myself with a couple of other projects. I started this little jewel yesterday.
The pattern is roughly the Garter Yoke Baby Cardigan by Jennifer Hoel. I’m using some Colinette Jitterbug in Ochre and a size 4 needle. I think it will end up being just a bit bigger than her Tiny Rocky Coast, so it will stretch just a bit further into winter.
The color makes me think of all the delicious apples that are in season right now.
Happy November!
Gorgeous colours!
Love that colorway!
Love this little sweater! What great colors! And the ochre color for your sweater is going to be perfect for fall!
Thanks for reminding me about NaKniSweMo! Love how your garter yoke cardigan is coming along.
the colour is gorgeous for that little sweater… I just read through your mermaid post too, oh my goodness, totally adorable and most excellent knitted costume! clever XX
gorgeous colours! happy november! i’m in the midst of a sweater as well (adult sized… taking for.ev.er :))
I love this pattern! I’ve knit one already, and since a friend of mine is having twins, two more will be in my future. I love how easy and cute it is, and also how easy it is to customize for size – garter cuffs are perfect for babies because they look great rolled up and rolled down.
Also, great colour choice. It totally says apples to me.
