Before I forget, I was super fortunate again this summer and won another blogging comment contest. I won a copy of the fabulous book, Knit NotesJulie, from Knitted Bliss had a drawing and I was the lucky recipient.knit notes

I got it in the mail a couple of weeks ago. I can’t wait to incorporate this into my design process to help me organize some of my crazy crazy note taking. A ton of my designing is done on random scraps of paper. It’s ridiculous. Maybe this can help me keep it in one place. The book also includes standard size guides for women, men, children, and babes.knit notes-2

That is definitely going to make my process easier to have those all in one place. Check out the book if you love to design or customize your knits. And check out Julie’s blog too. She’s a classy lady with an adorable baby and some gorgeous designs.

Yesterday I received my Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Superwash in the mail to try. It will become this adorable hoodie, styled like a fox, rather than a kangaroo. I’m going with a solid color for the body and I think the color will work really well for a fox:

I can’t wait to get started! I’m going to finish my Beatnik sleeves first, but since a majority of the hoodie will be autopilot stockinette, I can start it soon! Hope you all are having a fabulous day.
