This has been a lovely weekend so far. I got to celebrate the nuptials of two of my friends, with even more friends. Jenni and Michael got married, and I made Jenni a shawl. Aren’t they adorable?
I didn’t actually expect her to wear it for the ceremony or reception since Arkansas summers are brutally hot at times. This day was no exception, but it was lovely, nonetheless. The shawl is Echo Flower Shawl by Jenny Johnson Johnen. I used about a skein and a half of Classic Elite Mountain Top Vail. The pattern was fun and just enough challenge to keep me focused. I highly recommend it!
Jenni looked amazing and modeled a variety of poses for me.
Congratulations to Jenni and Michael. I hope that you have a long and blissful marriage!
That is a stunning shawl, what a lovely gift for what looks like a very happy bride 🙂

That is INCREDIBLE, and what a beautiful bride (and groom!) The happiness just comes shining through the photos.
That shawl is beautiful and what a good match with the bride’s outfit. She is a good friend to take time out of such a busy day to model for you!
That’s a beautiful shawl. I love the way the creme of the shawl looks with her corally wedding dress.
This is so beautiful. What a kind and thoughtful gift for a bride.
