I have turned the heel on these summer socks. See this page for yarn details. A good portion of these has been knit while snuggling Charlotte as she naps on my chest. I go back to work in a little over a week and as much as I’ll love being back, I’m also going to miss my full days with this kiddo immensely.
Sorry you have to go back! They’re so precious.
She is so adorable and the socks look great!
love those socks! And I know how very difficult it is to leave your babe to go back to work.
The end of maternity leave is so incredibly cruel. I am so sorry.
Your socks and daughter are both beautiful 🙂
Beautiful socks! Adorable girl! – Good luck for those days to come. I am sure it is going to be both: you’ll miss the kiddo but at the same time being “back on track” will be good. Carina.
She is the most beautiful little girl – as is her sister!
I can’t believe my baby has been so tiny one year ago… I admire you for going back to work so early. In Quebec, we can take a year and I really think it is good for the mother and the child. Nice little socks! I should knit some for my girl!
I would love love love to have a year. I have 3.5 unpaid months. The time when they are this small is so short.
If I had a pot of gold it would be yours to have more tie with your heavenly babe
She is so cute!!
aw, look at that precious little muffin! so sweet. and your new socks look fantastic, of course.
oh my! Back to work already? We here in Alberta also have a year of Maternity Leave for our new moms. Charlotte is beautiful.
Do you have a favorite pattern you use for socks? Any suggestions. I bought some sock yarn and wanted to give it a try.
