The Copley dress is slightly over halfway done. I’ve started on the front piece and am a few inches in, but that’s a less interesting picture.
The yarn is Purl Soho Lantern in Pink Salt. I’m loving this color sooo much. I haven’t held it up against my body in the light, but I’m really hoping it’s not too sheer because I don’t want to have to wear layers underneath it. That defeats the purpose of a summer dress…
I’m making it all as specified. I probably could have made it an inch shorter or so because I’m definitely not as tall as the model, but it’s a good length. I’m undecided on the sleeves right now. I want to finish the front and back, seam it, and then see how I feel. I have to take breaks sometimes because this is a linen/cotton blend and that wears my hands out faster than wools or straight cotton. It’s lovely stuff though, and I’m working on it as fast as I can because I can’t wait to wear it!
That is absolutely gorgeous!
oh my gosh, that dress in progress is soooooo beautiful!! I love that pink salt colourway, and the texture!
