I’ve got a couple of projects waiting to be seamed and have a little collar work done. League is one of them. This is my SSKAL19 project. I have no idea if the deadline has passed or not. That part isn’t really as important to me, but I love a good knitalong.

This has been hanging around for awhile, blocked and ready to seam. However, the weather has been humid and scorching, so I’m not quite as motivated to finish this. I think it’s going to be gorgeous and super soft. Displaying the pieces here and calling myself out for this is my way of trying to be accountable, so thanks for witnessing that.

The yarn is Miss Babs Keira in Quicksilver, French Marigold, and Juniper. I was very very pleased to get full length sleeves from one skein of Juniper. I should have enough to finish the collar in it without struggle as well. Keira has a generous 560 yards per skein. That’s super awesome when you’re trying to squeeze sleeves and a collar out of one skein.

My only modification to the pattern (that I recall) is knitting a slightly different gauge. My gauge is a little looser, so I went down in size to use numbers that would get me the size I wanted. I was committed to using this yarn, and that was the best way to get exactly what I wanted. I am dying for just a smidge of cold mornings or evenings to put this sweater to the test.

Ok, ok. Really I have to seam it first.
