I couldn’t resist making a couple more toys. This little Rag Jackrabbit pattern was on sale before Christmas so I bought it and when I finished the pandas, it seemed like the next natural step in filling the toy making craving I had.
I dived into the stash for some rabbit colors. I had leftover cream from both of the pandas and paired that with some copper Koigu KPPPM for one bunny and some leftover Miss Babs Keira in Quicksilver for the second. I have so much stuffing leftover from the pandas. When looking for stuffing I ended up buying some made from recycled materials in a 5 pound bag. Oh, it looked small online and then was GIANT when it arrived. I should have known better. I’ll probably pass most of it on at some point, but in the meantime it can be a few toys.
These have satisfied the remnants of my toy making desires for the time being. I’m on to a sweater for Matt and another for me soon. As usual, I’ve been knitting much more than I’ve been blogging, so I’m sure I’ll have a swath of new finished objects to present soon.
Love bunnies but these are really cute 🐰
So cute!
Cute! I recently started using cotton batting as stuffing…it compacts a little bit with the heavy duty cuddling my son’s toys get, so another eco-friendly option like recycled would be worth investigating!
OK, so I am a dog person, and never knit toys before, but that photo of your kitteh is soooo sweet!!
